Senior Software Engineer


Job Description: Solve complex engineering problems by working with the latest enterprise tech stack including .NET, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and other engineering solutions. Participate in code reviews and whiteboard discussions that lead to improved software. As a leader, work within an agile software team, coach peers about new advancements in technology, and provide leadership and mentoring to a scrum team in all aspects of engineering best practices.


Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, plus 8 years (96 months) experience in Software Engineering. Experience must include financial and insurance domain knowledge, and must also include working with C#; .NET or equivalent; data structures, algorithms and software design principles (OOP, SOLID, KISS, etc.); API management systems and security practices; integrated development environments, Data management technologies (SQL, Integration Services, etc), SaaS (software As service) methodologies, Web Services Methodologies (XML, JSON, SOAT, REST, IIS, SSL, API, etc), source code management systems, and workflow management systems; web development languages (MVC, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, etc.) and software design patterns; automated testing tools and continuous integration tools; agile environment. Periodic relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required. Occasional short-term travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required.

Business Service Management and Senior Business Solutions Support


Objective: Focus offshore resources; provide level 3 local support, serve as escalation path during critical outages. Manage project surge capability.


Key Skills:

  • Ensure knowledge base maintenance for knowledge transfer to offshore resources
  • Manage daily hand-off of open issues from off-shore resources
  • Assist off-shore resources in improving response capability through effective knowledge transfer and documentation.
  • Monitor service level agreements.
  • Ensure operations processes are conducted in an effective and concise manner, specifically Incident Management, Post Incident Review, Problem Management and Applications Release management..
  • Serve as business focal point and escalation process during critical outages ability to maintain appropriate sense of urgency while ensuring business customer service.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL preferred.

Technologies: Remedy, Clarify or similar Service management toolset, Unix scripting, Oracle, SQLServer, SQL database queries, Windows troubleshooting, Maestro, ScheduleX or similar scheduling solution.

BPM Consultant / Senior Developer


Job Description: Participate in the design, development, and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products, and services. Oversee the delivery of the IBM Business Project Management (BPM) product technical solutions and ensure that the delivered solution meets the business requirements, design requirements, and technical specifications. Provide coaching and mentoring to junior developers.


Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Information Systems or a related technical field, plus 7 years (84 months) of progressive post-Baccalaureate experience in Business Project Management. Experience must include working with IBM BPM/Lombardi Teamworks, JavaScript, JQuery, Dojo, AngularJS, Java, XML, XSLT, XPath, XQuery, HTML, CSS3, SQL/PL SQL, SOAP and REST. Periodic relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required. Occasional short-term travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required.
